Metchnikoff with Paul Erlich were awarded the Nobel Prize in medicine or physiology in 1908 for their work on immunity. Binding is very tight, bright; top edge darkened. The fore edges of the first five printed leaves have been reinforced with clear archival tape else fine; contents bright and unmarked.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good.
