Sir Wilfred Thomason Grenfell, the missionary whose name will always be associated with Newfoundland and Labrador has written of his experiences on his travels. The content of the book begins with " First Impressions of Egypt etc. and ends with chapter twenty, " The Japanese." The text is profusely photo illustrated on heavy semi-gloss paper. All illustrations are present and in excellent condition. Red cloth boards with gilt print to front and spine. Backstrip is sunned and gilt dulled. Bookplate to fep. Untrimmed fore-edge. Normal edgewear. A clean copy written by an extraordinary individual.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good.
