First American edition hardcover with dust jacket, published by Dutton, 2004. Another brilliant historcial novel from the author of 'Girl With A Pearl Earring'. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped, the die cuts on the front panel of the jacket are intact and are not torn or ripped - the die cut for hte unicorn shows just one nick at the top left. This is not a remainder, not a library discard. There is the former owner's name written in fine point black ink on the first blank flyleaf. No further writing besides that though. Beautifully illustrated cover boards depict the tapestry which is the subject of the book. A spot of age tanning to the top edge of the text block. The boards are flat and the corners are not bumped or creased. The dust jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
Synopsis
