First signature (page gathering) to p. 24, spine strip, leather boards, detached, present. All edges gilt. "Peruvian Heliotrope.--Devotion," in: The Lady's Book of Flowers and Poetry. Ed. by Lucy Hooper. New York: J.C. Riker, 1848. 8o. Original publisher's gilt-decorated pebble-grained morocco, edges gilt (spine ends and edges worn). Contains Poe's short poem "Peruvian Heliotrope" on p. 225.
