Tours, France: Mame new edition, 1871. Hardcover. Good. Woodengravings + frontis signed Piaud to the text by K. Girardet, some signed Sargent.. 138x84mm cloth spined printed pictorial boards (tips worn/foot of spine split/spine label chipped/edges with paper loss to boards) 400pp. slight browning to edges and new endpapers. Except for ink name at top of half title which has bled through to margin of frontis and marginal repair to foredge of this page the contents are V.G. Many charming vignette engravings with good details (see Rochambeau 898 "reimpression of 1862 ed").
