The book is excellent with no handling wear or marks to speak of. This copy has been signed without dedication to the title page by Seamus Heaney. Polish poet Jan Kochanowki's laments translated by Heaney and Stanislaw Baranczak. The increasingly rare first print, it would go on to be revised by the Gallery Press in 2009.
