Complete in itself as volume one. Priced to go. The Lancet was founded by surgeon Thomas Wakley in 1823. It quickly became Englands leading medical journal. Containing transcripts of medical lectures news and details of noteworthy cases. Here in our 1843 copy we find numerous interesting and wonderous articles and findings. A great read for the curious and odd findings in early 1800s medicine and practice.
