Bookplate and ink stamp of University College of North Wales, ink signature of H. J. Evans (Anglesey) on title-page, Fine. Various articles; of particular note, this volume contains: The Fever at the Clergy Orphan Asylum, pp. 617-19, and Intestinal Fever: Its Mode of Propagation, pp. 694-5, both by William Budd. There is also an article by James Campbell (of Glasgow) reporting two cases of accidental poisoning by strychnine, which was then used as a tonic medication. There is also a series of articles (with illustrations) by W. Tyler Smith on the theory and practice of obstetrics.
