Hatfield: Welwyn Hatfield Museum Service, 1989 First edition. Paperback book : photo-illustrated green paper wrappers, lettered in black, stapled. 26pp. With photo of the author to front wrapper and 2 small line drawings by her in the text. Well-written and perceptive account of farming as it once was: as a Land Girl from 1948 to 1950 (when the scheme ended), after which she stayed on as a farm hand for another nine years. Very Good copy. Largely clean and well-bound with a touch of rust to staples in centre, and owner has inscribed details of printer at top of front wrapper. . Pictures available.
