This edition contains 48 photos by Adams, along with notes on the photos and an afterword by Adams, in part paying tribute to Austin (1868-1934) who had previously written text for Adams's first book, Taos Pueblo (1930). The Land of Little Rain was originally published in 1903 and is a classic of Californiana, a Zamorano 80 title.
