New edition of work first published 1949, based on lectures given at Oxford. Royal 8vo (7" x 10"), teal cloth with gilt lettering on spine, little wear - corners sharp, some sunning to extremities, faded blue topstain with red remainder mark, in unclipped DJ with curled edges to flaps, light wear along top. Names of former owners Profs. Ann and Warner Berthoff written on ffep along with stamped previous bookstore price, her underscoring and marginalia on approximately 10 pages and page-reference notes on rfep.
