London: Charles Tilt, 1833.. Second edition, three volumes, 8vo. 120 plates and a facsimile letter, early booklabels to paste downs. Contemporary wine red half morocco, marbled sides, some light wear to extremities. Originally published in two volumes with a third containing mostly female portraits appearing afterwards; this second edition has a slightly different title and the portraits mixed in with the other plates.
