Quarter bound brown leather with brown patterned paper covered boards. Gilt lettering. Textblock is in French. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Hinges are slightly cracked with exposed netting. Pages are heavily tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Pen inscription to a front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends.
