Thomas Downes and James Young, 1643 London. First Edition. Hardback. Very Good/No Jacket. First edition, published 1643 London. Later reversed calf binding, upper hinge at head and tail splitting, upper hinge cracked, two leaves with marginal corner loss (A3 and Z44), title and advertisement leaf with crude old tape repair to inner margin, small worm trail affecting last dozen or so leaves modern bookplate to front paste-down, folio, unpaginated folio. A notably clean and bright copy aside from the few mentioned faults. No damp staining and no foxing. A rare work, with none at auction since 1965
