About This Item

10" x 62" panoramic photo identified in pencil on the verso as Springfield, Massachusetts. The photographer is credited as the Haines Photo Co, in Conneaut, Ohio and it is dated 1909. Nice view of city streets and trolley cars. There are a couple of minor creases and the right and left borders have some stains and a small tear. Much has changed in 111 years since this was taken. A casino now beckons one from the highway to come take a chance.
