About This Item

Signed. First Edition. History and stories of las Tejanas, women of Spanish / Mexican origin and their role in Texas history since the beginning of the 1700's. Thorough, authoritative and well researched. Both authors are scholars and prolific historians and writers. Ruthe Winegarten has inscribed the book to her friend, Joe Atkins, prominent Dallas civil rights activist. The book is in near fine condition with only very slight bumps at the top right. In addition to Winegarten's inscription, both authors have signed on the title page.

About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
