Taller, slightly narrow book, cream cloth spine with tiny brown spots at top and bottom, gold boards, map of North America inside covers and adjacent end papers, 240 lightly browned heavy pages. DJ has purple background, colorful illustration of man with sword and map behind him on front, praise on back from William Wiser, John Calvin Batchelor, James MacGregor Burns, photo of Vernon inside back flap. DJ has light crease at top front left, nick with very slight wear at spine bottom left edge, 1.5" tear at bottom back tip onto back. Near Good DJ/Fine book.
