Hardcover with dust jacket, published by Simon and Schuster, 1966. This copy is a Book Club Edition, a third printing copy. Classic of WWII History. Ryan interviewed hundreds of participants in his research of this story of the Battle of Berlin. 572 pages, with Index, Bibliography, and photos. 6-1/4" X 9-1/4". Color map on the paste-down pages. The dust jacket shows wear - with chips at the top left, heel of the spine panel, several creases and edge wear. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Black cloth covered boards Minor edge wear to the bottom edges and tips of the corners. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Sewn binding is tight and square. Edges of the text block show a few dots of age tanning. Nicely printed for a Book Club edition, very sturdy, weighing more than 2 pounds. Not a library discard. Attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
