Fine/Fine. 8vo, white speckled buckram with scarlet and blue-green lettering on spine, Mylar-protected photographic dust jacket of three horses on a carousel, [xii] + 435 pages. Scarce collection by the noted Chicago author in a Fine dj, whose only defect is a small tear to free front endpaper. Nelson Algren is best known for his gritty and pathfinding novel about drug addiction, The Man With the Golden Arm, which won the first National Book Award and was made into a major film starring Frank Sinatra.
