Mit Texten von Juri Andruchowytsch, Vetle Lid Larssen, Karl-Markus Gauß, Dagmar Leupold, Lavinia Greenlaw, Lidia Jorge, Geert Mak, Christoph Ransmayr, Andrzej Stasiuk u.a.- Als "editorischen Glücksfall" versteht Rezensentin Ilma Rakusa die Zusammenarbeit von Autoren, Fotografen und Herausgeberinnen in diesem Band. Hier werde einmal keinem "Trend" hinterher gerannt, sondern ein wirkliches "Anliegen" verfolgt mit erzählerisch überaus starken Texten und Bildern. Meist berichten die Texte von toten Industriegebieten in Osteuropa, referiert die Rezensentin, es gibt aber auch die Geschichte eines früheren Grenzbahnhofs zwischen Russland und Preußen, ostenglische Küstenstädte, die im Meer verschwunden sind, ein Blick auf die nordöstlichste Stadt Europas, Vardo, oder der Bericht einer Bäuerin, die vom Betontod der Algarveküste erzählt. Einer möglichen Kritik, hier werde einer "ästhetisierenden Nostalgie" gefrönt, begegnet die Rezensentin mit dem Hinweis, natürlich erzählten alte Orte mehr als junge, aber die Art und Weise des Blicks und Tonfalls sei hier entscheidend: "Respektvoll, präzise und einfühlsam". Terms of payment
Invoices are to be paid within 15 days. For first orders we reserve delivery after payment in advance. In case of delay of payment, the second reminder is charged at an extra cost of CHF 10.00. Also, other additional costs are charged to the customer.
Sales return
In the event of a well-founded claim, the merchandise can be returned upon consultation within 14 days. If the claim turns out to be unsubstantiated, or the damage is the result from improper handling by the customer etc., all the costs are charged to the customer. Returns are only accepted with the invoice enclosed. Damages during shipment have to be notified within 48 hours. Otherwise the refund expires. Return upon dissatisfaction is excluded.
Place of venue
We are subject only to Swiss law. Place of venue is Zurich.
