Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1929 DJ:(2 paragraphs inside frt flap,this is 2nd state) has a major piece missing front cover that is at the top right hand side taking out the H I N G of laughing and the Y of boy ,extending to the middle of the front cover taking out the F A R G of La Farge,other wise it is presentable with minor tears and chipping,price intact. Book: minor soiling to covers,very minor shelfwear to one corner,very square,very tight with all the 1st issue points, previous owner has glued in business card inside the front cover,inside back cover has a small piece of browned tape and pencil mark 1st ed and Rn which can be erased, no foxing,no soiling,almost Fine.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Poor. INCLUDED IS A FULL HANDSIGNED SIGNATURE, ON A SMALL CUT OF PAPER,BLUE INK, FROM ONE OF HIS OTHER BOOKS.
