Dating from 1971, "Perhaps When Removed" is one of Lawrence Weiner's earliest publications, and his first artist's book for Amsterdam's "Art & Project". A handsome example of this uncommon item (entry number three of the artist's books in Dieter Schwarz' "Lawrence Weiner: Books 1968-1989: Catalogue Raisonné") limited to three hundred unnumbered copies showing some minor handling along with the faintest rippling and discoloration to the extremities due to having been stored in a moist environment. It has been priced accordingly.
