Good - Cash. *** Set of 4; all different publishing years *** Volume 1 (1901) is in good condition, Leather spine and corners, cloth covers. Corners are bumped, top edge of spine is missing, showing the board underneath, wear to the bottom edge. Wear to spine, Title on spine and front cover done in gold. Maroon spine and covers, has wear to covers. A crack formed on the inside of volume, you can see the webbing. Bigger crack found in the index, between pages 826-827, last few pages are loose. Page edges have red and white foxing. VOLUME 2 (1914) Maroon spine and covers, Gold lettering on the spine and front cover. Leather spine and corners, cloth covers. Wear to the spine, rubbing and tears to the top and bottom of spine. Top of spine edge missing some pieces. Corners are bumped; showing the boards underneath. Light wear to the covers. Page edges have the same red and white/tan foxing. Pages appear to be unmarked. VOLUME 3 (1920) Maroon leather spine and corners, maroon covers with gold letteirng on the spine and front cover. Corners are bumped; showing the webbing underneath. Spine shows rubbing and tears to the top and bottom edges of the spine. Top edge of spine has some pieces missing. Page edges have the red/tan foxing to them. Has a small tear on the inner hinge just after you open the front cover. Has '720' stamped on ffep. Bigger crack just after copyright page, tucked up, shows the webbing. There are a few pages with tanning. Pages appear to tbe unmarked. VOLUME 4 (1936) Maroon hardcover binding, title on spine and front cover done in gold lettering. Small staining on the front cover. Light rubbing to the top and bottom edge of spine. Has '71' stamped on the ffep. Tanning around the page edges. Pages appear to be unmarked. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.
