New York: Pantheon Books Inc., 1954. Clean orange cloth on boards with illustrated drawing of an American Indian on horseback. Spine: green wrap, gilt titles over black label and gilt bands; soft paperthin rubbing to head & foot. Light bumping to boards three fore corners. Edges: small smudge to bottom edge corner and faint soiling to several pages bottom fore corners, otherwise clean contents. Illustrated by line drawings. Binding is As New. 833p Dj: clean jacket. Thin wear, chips and small splits to head & bottom edges; a couple of short clear tape repairs. Flaps spines with moderate rubbed wear, small holes and clear tape repair on inside. Spine: rearside edge with long split and clear tape repair on front and inside. Tiny hole to front cover. . First Edition. Hb. VG/VG. Illus. by Reginald Marsh.
