Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning with visible tanning, staining and scuffing overall. Spine has slightly heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends.

Publisher's grey cloth lettered in red to spine, pictorial dust-jacket with printed price of 8s 6d to front flap. Four full page illustrations, top edge red. Spotting to flyleaf and edges of textblock, blue pen to back flyleaf, rolling to spine, tearing to dust-jacket creases repaired with archival tape to tail of spine and back. Very good. After meeting a fortune teller at the local village fete, Jennings is determined to make her predictions come true. This makes his summer term at Libury Court School somewhat of a disaster due to his humorous misadventures.
