Paris: A L'Imprimerie Imperiale, 1865. Hardcover. Very Good. Hardcover. Presentation copy inscribed by the author on the half title page. This is a printing of two lectures given at the Sorbonne, a historical house in Paris that used to part of the University of Paris. The lectures include: Etablissement de La Monarchie Temperee given in November 1861 and De La Famile Chez les Burgondes given in April 1863. Very good hard cover in modern black cloth binding with gilt title to spine. Minor toning to margins of pages and occasional spots of foxing. Clean overall. Short closed tear to edge of one endpaper. 137 pages. French Literature. FRE1/03101.
