About This Item
Toronto: Hunter, Rose and Company, , 1876. First edition. 8vo,. original embossed cloth, cloth mottled and a little dampstained, spine sunned, endpapers spotted else very good. Born in Northern Ireland, Watson emigrated to Montreal in 1857 where he worked as a journalist. He later moved to Toronto where he was employed at the Globe. In 1872 he took up a position of librarianat the Legislative Library of Ontario.
