About This Item
Boston: Farrand, Mallory, et. al, 1810. 2nd edn. 8vo, Pp. 110 + 1p of adv. Bound in original leather-backed boards, crudely repaired with tape. Imprints # 21935. Journalist and man of letters, Walsh (1784-1859) was editor of a number of periodicals and, in 1811, founded the first US quarterly. This is his first book. It was well received in Britain as it strove to convince Americans to ally themselves with England against the French.
