The original letter was penned June 28, 1845 from Oregon City and addressed to "Brothers John & Ronald." Medorem advises his brothers to come to Oregon and gives them specific instructions such as what to acquire for the overland journey: cattle, a "good young mule," etc., and not to start with less than $75. Rather scarce little booklet. Fine.
