About This Item

Lipsiae (Liepzig): John B. Perry, 1844. Hardcover. Good. 24mo - over 5 - 5¾" tall. 180pp. Blue cloth with heavy paper book cover bound to book. Light foxing, text otherwise clean and binding is tight, former owner's name and other notations in pencil on front endpapers. Evidently former owner applied this unusual covering to protect the binding, which most likely is well preserved. A remarkable collection of letters dealing with business, love, courtship, marriage, relationship, friendship, plus samples of complimentary cards, instructions on lettering and legal forms.
