From the back cover: "These letters from Henry Miller to Anais Nin constitute the first part of the book "Letters to Anais Nin" which was first published in Britain [1965] by Peter Owen Ltd. The letters, from October 1931 to January 1940 - an extremely significant period to both writers - are now re-published in this special 1974 edition." CONTENTS: photos of Miller and Nin; Introduction (22 pages, by Gunther Stuhlmann); the letters; 220 pages total. CONDITION: a bright, square, unmarked, possibly unread copy with minimal shelf-wear, uncreased but for a straight vertical crease directly on the front spine edge. This attractive copy is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag.
