Many of the letters include a response from the recipient, or explanatory notes about the correspondence. Edited by Michael S. Berliner, and with an introduction by Leonard Peikoff. Indexed. --- In tan paper-covered boards backed in black cloth, with titling in silver to spine. Dust jacket with a color photographic portrait of Rand taken by Phyllis Cerf, apparently at the Random House offices in New York. --- An excellent copy: unmarked, bright and tightly-bound but with corners of several leaves creased to mark places in the book.
