French language; 32d ed. 1946; 372 p., immaculate and unmarked anywhere--not ex-lib., no former owner's signature; bidning firm; custom bound with elegant blue, white and ocher kaleidoscopic pattern and blue cloth corners and spine, gilt lettering on dark blue patch on spine. Despite absence of d.j. or protective covering there is little shelf wear except at spine, which is very faded with wearing away of fabric in places. Deserves skillful repair.
