Illustrated endpapers. No dust jacket. Set by hand in Garamond type by Elaine Rushmore at the Golden Hind Press, Madison, N.J. Striking black-and-white photographs of Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts, in the late 1930s, with architectural commentary, both by Samuel Chamberlain (1895-1975), etcher, photographer, and professor of architecture. In Very Good Condition: slightly cocked; spine is sunned; corners are rubbed; starting to separate from tail over back joint; clean and bright.
