Paris: Rene Kieffer. Very Good. 1925. Limited Edition. One of only 20 copies containing an original design and suite of gravures number 67 of an overall edition of only 550 copies. Bound by Simon Kra in half green morocco (faded to brown) over patterned paper with original pictorial wrappers bound in. Four raised bands and gilt particulars to spine. Spine panels lettered in gilt and framed in slightly darker rectangle motifs. Top edge gilt, others deckled. Marbled endpapers with bookplate of previous owner to front pastedown. 36 pochoir plates by Joseph Hemard with an extra suite of 36 plates on tissue plus an extra pencil sketch of binding spine to blank front fly. A clean, handsome copy without further markings. Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; [142], [6], [c. 82] pages; All shipments through USPS insured Priority Mail.
