Chicago and Philadelphia: Monarch Book Co.. G. 1899. 1st Printing. Hardcover. First thus bound in green decorated cloth with gold lettering. Four bo oks bound in one volume. 663 pages, illustrated. A Fair to Good copy. Rubs/frays to the spine tips and corners. Rubbing along the book's edg es. Soiling to the covers. The front hinge is cracked at the endpapers . The sewing is exposed. The front cover is still attached but is very wobbly. The first and second fly leafs are detached but included. The pages are tanned and stiff. Four books in one-"Pictorial History of South Africa", "Life of Paul Kruger", "Life of Cecil Rhodes" and "Brit ish-Boer War". .
