Author's first book of poems (including one poem each by Julio Hernandez, Peter Boone and Alice Henderson-Codrescu); with a foreword by Paul Carroll. 'First Printing F' (title page verso). Signed and inscribed by Codrescu in black ink on title page recto: 'this is a / [license to carry a gun] / for Verne Shrewsbury, / the love of / Andrei Codrescu / April 18 -- 73 / Alomcola ---'. Singular and uncommon when inscribed.3 b/w Photographs (portraits).
