He goes on to create much mischief with a series of humorous escapades. Illustrated with a frontispiece, engraved title page, and twenty-two plates.By Henry Cockton, who is best known for this work.Undated, dated c1865 based on when Routledge became 'George Routledge & Sons'.Collated, complete. Collated from Jisc from a copy held at the University of York Libraries. In a full calf binding. Externally, generally smart, with some marks to the boards and spine. Loss to the head of the rear joint and spine label. Light rubbing to the spine, extremities, and to the rear board. Rear hinge is starting but firm. Spots to the endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional scattered spot, heavier to the plates. Good
