Hefty 4to 10 3/4" tall. Half dark brown leather and dark textured cloth with 5 raised bands and red title/author leather label on spine. Marbled page edges. xxiv, 776 pages. 323 of the 324 engraved illustrations present with only the Palestine map frontispiece missing. Tightly bound. Leather is in very good condition. Bright paper. Clean. Very good condition. .
