London: John Murray, 1912. April 1912 Reprint.. Cloth. Ex library - good. xxviii, 496, 4 p. 23 cm. 13 b&w illustrations. Green cloth hardcover with gold impressing. Spine and boards faded. Ink mark on spine. Ex library with call number on lower spine, labels and ink marks on endpapers and ink stamps on text block edges. Inscribed by author on half title "To W. C. Bell a fellow bookman with regards from Herbert Jenkins 29-3-13." A b&w photo is tipped in next to the inscription, marking page opposite. Attached to front free endpaper is a 1913 letter to "Bell" handwritten by the author on Herbert Jenkins Ltd. Publishers letterhead. Mark on Contents page. Pages uncut.
