This copy of "The Life of Man Inviolable by the Laws of Christ", shown in Two Sermons delivered at Colchester, Conn. March 19, 1815. by Rev. Aaron Cleveland" was printed in 1815 by Thomas M. Skinner & Co. of Colchester, Conn. The paper, which measures approximately 5 x 8 inches, contains 40 pages presenting the two sermons. The pages are tanned, but the text is clear and easily read. The paper is in good/very good condition.
The illustrations accompanying this description show the title page and the first page of each sermon.
Aaron Cleveland (3 February 1744 – 21 September 1815), pursued multiple vocations. His father's early death deprived him of the privilege of a college education, but he pursued his studies while apprenticed to a manufacturer in Norwich, Connecticut. In 1779, he was a member of the provincial legislature of Connecticut. Late in life, he became a Congregationa pastor near Hartford, Connecticut.
