SHAKESPEARE, William. The Life of King Henry the Fift[h]. with; The First [Second] [Third] Part of King Henry the Sixt[h] [London: Printed by Tho. Cotes, for Robert Allot..., 1632].
From the Second Folio Edition. Folio (12 1/4 x 8 1/8 inches; 310 x 207 mm). [52] leaves, (pages 69-172). With woodcut head and tailpieces, and initials. Printed in double columns.
Newer half brown calf over marbled paper boards. Spine with four brown morocco spine labels, lettered in gilt, one for each play. Some occasional spotting and toning. Some early old ink notes and marginalia. Page 115 with a tiny quarter-inch closed tear repaired at blank bottom margin. A few of the top margins trimmed close, occasionally touching top rule. Overall a very good copy.
Henry the Fifth and Sixth were first published as part of the First Folio of 1623.
