London: John Murray, 1887. Second Edition. Hardcover. Good Plus. Complete set in three volumes. Frontis of Darwin to each volume, 2 plates. ix,539,396,418 pages, Index. Gren cloth, large octavos with titles in gilt. Volume I has contemporary inscription dated 1887. Some foxing to endpapers, notes in pencil to rear endpaper of each volume, a few pages have some minor pencilling, otherwise clean. Corners bumped, spines show fading, light edgewear with usual light wear to top and bottom of spines, bindings tight.
