Vol. VI includes Wagram and the Peninsular War. Vol. VII deals with the Russian Campaign. Vol. VIII includes Elba and Waterloo. Vol IX deals with the last exile on St. Helena and Napoleon's death.
Period Brown Half-Leather Bindings with 5 Raised Bands on spines. Gilt titles & vol nos. in compartments, also blind-tooled decoration. Marbles paper-covered boards with leather corners.

Spines faded to golden colour. Some rubbing and scraping to boards. Edge wear. Hinges sound and text blocks firm apart from 2 loose pages. No inscriptions. Spots of light foxing to endpapers and fly leaves. Some light foxing to a few pages, most are in very good, clean condition.
