London: Wm Isbister, 1889. First edition, complete in two volumes (hardbacks). 8vo, xx, 316pp; xi, 312pp. 24 plates. Original green cloth, gilt titling to the spines, gilt design to the front boards, top edges gilt. Bindings rubbed and lightly shaken, fraying to the head of the spines, endpapers foxed else contents good to very good. Formerly in a reference library, with occasional stamps. Overall, this set is just about in good condition.
