Ex-library with card pocket inside front cover, stamp on bottom edge, and embossment on title page. Front hinge beginning to detach as well as leather covering spine. First signature detached and laid in. A beautiful and complete book in fair condition.
This is an antique "Isabella Edition" limited edition printing of the first volume of Irving's biography of Columbus. Suffers from binding issues, but is finely printed and profusely illustrated.
