London: Longman, Green and Co, 1901. Octavo. In two volumes; 375 and 364pp., illustrated. A marvelous account of the man, his passion and depiction of his genius. The author was encouraged by Sir Edward Burne-Jones and he was able to examine the early materials from the firm of Morris & Co, as well as those of Smith and J.H. Dearle. A handsome set in very good condition bound in maroon cloth, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, light bumping to corners, previous owner's name.
