Black cloth with gilt spine lettering, fine. xi + 452, 13 plates (I make it) ex-pagination and numbered by chapter, numerous text figs numbered by chapter, only fault is a tear across centre half-title now closed on verso with transparent tear repair tape, otherwise clean tight and unmarked, reducing my rating from Fine to VG-Fine. Unclipped jacker clean and nearly unworn but hint of rubbing to top sp. and back edge and tiny nick to to top back outer corner (will add protective sleeve when ordered). 22 papers on a wide range of topics such as meteorology, submarine light and effects on numerous plant and small animal species, mostly reporting specific research findings.
