New York: Harry N Abrams, 1989. First edition. Hardcover. vg. 4t. Oblong. 120pp. Yellow cloth with gilt lettering to spine in original dj. Tail of spine slightly rubbed. Minor discoloration to bottom edge. Some scuffing, creasing and chipping to dj. Two small tears to upper edge of dj. Brodart. The first publication to survey the thirty-five year career of the great American photographer. Friedlander chose the images for this edition himself. Profusely illustrated with annotated full-page b/w photographs. Overall very good condition.
