Isherwood reviewed his youth from the lofty eminence of thirty-four" (ODNB). Octavo. Original blue cloth, spine lettered in black. With dust jacket. Photographic portrait frontispiece. Spine lightly faded and bumped at head, contents clean; jacket spine with toning, a small puncture, and shallow wear at head, edges with a couple of nicks, unclipped: a near-fine copy in very good jacket.
